The plant supplies the world’s largest plastics manufacturer and joint venture partner of its company LyondellBasell with secondary raw materials for mechanical and chemical recycling as part of a long-term supply contract.
Source One Plastics is supplied with waste containing plastics by partners who operate dual systems or sorting plants. Individual recycling orders from manufacturers supplement the continuous stream of waste processing.
Missing-batch and closed-loop recycling
Thanks to our precise AI technology, plastics in post-consumer waste can be identified and sorted by product. This allows manufacturers to recover their originally used material for a true closed loop. In addition, product batches sorted out by the manufacturer can be delivered for scheduled recycling and fed directly back into the cycle.
